Wanted to visit Alaska and Hawaii and saw the Original travel Ice and Fire trip advertised. David discussed all our requirements and delivered a besoke 3 week trip for us. It is not many trips where you can see Moose and Mantra Rays, Black Bears, Whales, Green Turtles and tropical fish to mention a few. From the planning stage to the concierge on hand during the trip all aspects of the vacation were covered. All the personalised recommendations for food, hotels and excursions were spot on. Our first time with Original Travel, with no idea of the wonderful holiday ahead when my husband & I said to Pat that we were thinking of going to Guyana. Pat worked with us to plot our route down the red dust road from Georgetown to the Brazilian border, taking in much birdlife, unique local stopovers, giant anteaters and an unforgettable night time river trip tagging wild caiman. It all felt like our own special adventure but with the knowledge Original Travel's expertise and experience were there when needed. Thank you so much!

Myself & my wife have just returned from a self drive adventure to California. We had 3 nights in San Francisco before moving on to the wine district of Sonoma. While in Sonoma we sampled a number of local wineries aswell as blending our own wine which was a great experience. The town of Sonoma is very laid back and is very much a place to enjoy the sampling of wine paired with different foods. As part of our package we had a hire car to get us around from point to point. From San Francisco to Sonoma and then a 3 hour journey down to the west coast to a beautiful place called Carmel By The Sea. Carmel is a town with lots of designer shops, upmarket eateries & lots of fabulous places to sit and have a drink or two and watch the world go by. We drove the coastal route known as the 17 mile between Carmel & Monterey aswell as Whale Watching in Monterey Bay. We were very lucky with the weather while in California as we visited in April & it can be unpredictable at this time. In San Francisco, we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge 3 times and it was sunny, if a little breezy, but the bridge was visible, no mist, on every occasion. We visited Alcatraz, a must do for anyone's list. The one thing I must mention is our journey home (to the hotel) from Alcatraz. We tried out the Waymo. If you don't know what that is, it's a driverless taxi that talks to you! 🤣 If you go to San Francisco, be brave & try the Waymo it's great fun!! The last thing we did which was again weather permitting was standing on Carmel beach and watching the sunset. 🌅 WOW! What a great lasting memory. This trip has been in the planning for the past 18 months & I have to say that we are both greatful to the team at Original Travel for putting together our itinerary. Not only including our wish list but adding their own ideas based on collective & individual team members experiences of the region. It doesn't stop there, the team extends to a local concierge team that we could call upon if needed. When we did need them they wasted no time in answering our needs and supported us to make our experience that much more enjoyable. This is the first time that we have used Original Travel to plan a land based trip for us, indeed prior to this i hadn't even heard of them, just happened to come across them searching the web and reading reviews like this one. I am pleased that we took a chance on the team at Original Travel as they have done us proud. I can assure you that we will definitely call on them again for our next land based adventure.

We have just returned from a snow adventure holiday in Swedish Lapland. I made a general online request to Original Travel and this was quickly followed up by a phone call from Emily to establish exactly what we wanted. She made the booking process really easy and we planned a holiday tailored to our requirements Our time away was amazing and was everything we hoped for. If you want a very special experience look no further than Original Travel. This was our third trip with them. This time we went to Finland for an ‘adventurous’ holiday for our family of 7 adults and 2 children under 4. Emily was very patient organising our itinerary fitting in all the activities and still having 2 of us baby-sitting. We all took part in dog sledding, reindeer ride and afternoon with Father Christmas. Some of us also went horse riding, down hill and cross country ski-ing. A truly magical trip.
