We have traveled with Esplora - and especially Damain - several times - starting with the Treasures of Sicily tour many years ago. His knowledge and passion for Italy is amazing. The tours are well organized and he senses the interest and focus of the group and makes adjustments among the way. VERY accommodating There are always special little surprises - like the picnic in Riserva Naturale Orientata Fiume Ciane e Saline di Siracusa. (Picture below) Always a nice blend of history, culture as well as great food and wine. We asked Damian if he could arrange a private wine tour of Sicily - which he did for us (Pictures below) Everything is taken care of from the time we were picked up at the airport in Palermo to the time we were dropped off in Catania. He arranged for totally personalized the service at every place we visited and we had exceptional drivers throughout the 0 days As a matter of fact, we enjoyed this so much that we told some friends of ours and the four of us are leaving for another personalized wine to Sicily in October.

I traveled with Damian on the Treasures of Sicily tour some 8/9 yrs ago and to Istanbul about 6/7 yrs ago - both have left indelible wonderful memories and lasting interest.
I was lucky enough to go on a wonderful tour with Esplora Travel to the lesser-known parts of Northern Turkey. It included Ankara, classic Ottoman towns, castles, some wonderful Museums, medieval churches, a foray into the dramatic mountains, and finishing with magnificent Erzurum. An interesting and varied tour. I can thoroughly recommend Esplora Travel.
Wonderful trip to Sicily during time for medieval era processions that were quite amazing!
