Account

  • If you are unable to access your account, please use the Forgot Password link and reset your password. If problems persist, ensure you are using the email address associated with your merchant registration.

  • Search for your company on our platform. If it's not yet claimed, click the 'Claim This Business' button. You will need to verify ownership via a business email address or by placing a unique code on your website.

  • Yes, our Team plan allows you to invite multiple staff members with different permission levels to help manage reviews and responses.

  • If you operate several brands or storefronts, our cluster feature lets you manage multiple companies under a single login. From your dashboard, open Account Settings and use 'Add Linked Company'. Cluster companies automatically share the highest available plan.

  • If the original verification email is no longer accessible, contact support with documentation proving business ownership (a recent invoice, domain registration, or company registry record). We will manually transfer ownership after verification.

Reviews & AI

  • Login to your account and click the Reviews menu. You can reply directly to any review. Your response will be displayed publicly alongside the customer's feedback, showing that you value their input.

  • Our platform uses advanced AI to automatically analyze customer feedback, extracting key highlights such as pros and cons. This helps you quickly identify trends and areas for improvement without manually reading every review.

  • We support three distinct review types: Company Reviews (overall brand experience), Product Reviews (specific item feedback), and Location Reviews (for physical store branches).

  • Reviews can only be challenged if your company has an active integration (e.g., Shopify). This allows us to independently verify order details without your involvement. If no integration is present, reviews cannot be challenged to ensure platform transparency.

  • From the Reviews section of your dashboard, you can send review invitations by email or upload a CSV of past customers. Premium plans unlock automated post-purchase invites triggered by your integration.

  • Replies are subject to the same community guidelines as reviews. Personal attacks, exposing private customer information, or promotional spam will be removed. You'll receive an email explaining the reason and can edit and resubmit.

Integrations & SEO

  • Currently, we support seamless integrations with Shopify, Google Business Profiles, Trustpilot, Judge.me, Etsy, Feefo, and Klaviyo. More integrations are added regularly.

  • Official integrations allow us to independently check order details and transaction history without your direct involvement. This ensures that every review we mark as verified is tied to a genuine interaction.

  • By installing our widgets, we automatically provide Google with structured data (JSON-LD). This allows your star ratings to appear directly in Google Search results, significantly increasing your click-through rate.

  • Initial imports run as a background sync and typically complete within a few hours, depending on review volume. You can keep using your dashboard during this time — new reviews will appear as they are processed.

  • Yes. Disconnect at any time from the Integrations section. Reviews already imported remain visible, but no new reviews from that source will be synced and verification linked to it will pause.

Widgets

  • Absolutely. You can customize colors, fonts, dimensions, and layout settings directly from your dashboard. We also provide live previews so you can see exactly how they'll look on your site before installing.

  • No. Our widgets are built with high-performance code and delivered via a global CDN. They are designed to load asynchronously, meaning they won't interfere with your site's initial load time.

  • We offer a range of widgets including a floating badge, carousel slider, grid layout, single-review spotlight, and a star-rating snippet. Each is fully responsive and works on any modern website.

  • For Shopify, install our official app — widgets can be added through the theme editor as blocks. For WordPress and other CMS platforms, copy the small embed snippet from your dashboard into your theme or page builder.

Rewards

  • On your account page, navigate to the rewards section and click the Create A Reward button. You can offer discounts, loyalty points, or exclusive gifts to customers who leave a verified review.

  • Yes. Incentives can be restricted to verified customers, customers within a date range, or those who included photos or video. This keeps rewards aligned with high-quality, genuine feedback.

  • Loyalty points are funded by Rated Stores from your subscription plan's reward pool. Custom merchant-funded incentives (discount codes, gifts) are deducted from or fulfilled by your own systems.

Billing & Plans

  • We offer Basic (free), Starter, Premium, and Enterprise plans. Each tier unlocks more integrations, AI processing, widgets, and team seats. See the Pricing page for a full comparison.

  • Visit Dashboard → Plan. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period so you keep paid features until the period ends.

  • All invoices are available under Dashboard → Plan → Billing History. They're also emailed automatically to your billing contact after each payment.

  • We'll retry the payment automatically over several days and email you each time. If payment cannot be collected after the retry window, your account will move to the Basic free plan and premium features will pause until billing is resolved.

  • Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Plan → Cancel Subscription. Your paid features remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which the account moves to the free Basic plan. Your reviews and data are never deleted.

Badges & Trust Score

  • Trust Score blends overall rating, review volume, recency, response rate, and verification ratio. It updates daily as new reviews are processed, so consistent activity and responding to feedback both improve it.

  • Badges are awarded automatically when your company meets specific criteria — e.g., 'Top Rated', 'Fast Responder', 'Verified Reviews'. Earned badges appear on your public profile and can be embedded on your site via the badge widget.

  • Common causes are a cluster of recent negative reviews, a drop in response rate, or stale review activity over many months. Check your Insights dashboard for the specific factors contributing to the latest change.

API & Developers

  • Yes — Premium and Enterprise plans include access to our REST API for reading reviews, posting replies, and pulling aggregate stats. API keys are generated under Dashboard → Integrations → API Access.

  • Yes. You can subscribe to events such as 'review.created', 'review.verified', and 'reply.posted'. Webhooks are delivered with HMAC signatures so you can verify authenticity at your endpoint.

  • Standard API rate limits are 60 requests per minute and 10,000 per day on Premium, with higher limits on Enterprise. Exceeded limits return HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header — clients should back off and retry.

Account

  • If you are unable to access your account, please use the Forgot Password link and reset your password.

  • Accounts may be suspended for violating our terms of service, typically involving the posting of fake reviews or spam. If you think this was a mistake, please contact our support team.

  • Open your account dashboard and click Profile Settings. You can update your display name, profile photo, and bio at any time. Changes apply to all your existing reviews.

  • Yes. From Account Settings → Privacy, choose Delete Account. Your reviews will be anonymized (kept for community context) and your personal data fully removed in line with our privacy policy.

Reviews

  • Search for the business you wish to leave a review for and click the 'Write A Review' button. You can include photos and videos to make your feedback more helpful.

  • Our advanced AI automatically scans review text to highlight key positives and negatives. This gives you a quick snapshot of the best and worst parts of an experience without needing to read every full review.

  • To maintain a respectful community, we automatically obfuscate certain words or phrases that may cause offense. We believe in transparency, but we also ensure that feedback remains professional and constructive.

  • In order to prevent abuse we require an account so that verification checks can be carried out. All reviews must be verified before being published to ensure the community can trust the feedback.

  • Authenticity is our priority. Every reviewer is required to provide a form of proof, such as an order number, a copy of a receipt, or a photo of the product received. This ensures every review on our platform represents a genuine customer experience.

  • Yes, you can edit or delete your reviews at any time from your account dashboard. Please note that edited reviews may go through a brief re-verification process.

  • We love rewarding consistency and honesty. As you leave more verified reviews, you'll unlock exclusive badges (like 'Verified Expert' or 'Photo Contributor') and hit milestones that grant you loyalty point multipliers and early access to partner offers.

  • Most reviews are verified within minutes when the company has an active integration. Reviews requiring manual proof (receipts, photos) are typically reviewed within 24–48 hours.

  • Yes. You'll receive an email and an in-app notification whenever a business replies to one of your reviews. You can then reply back to keep the conversation going.

Rewards & Points

  • There are two types of rewards; Rated Stores loyalty points and incentives provided directly by the company. Loyalty points are awarded for each verified review left and incentives are provided from time to time by a business. Offers are only available for genuine customers and typically notification is provided by email.

  • Loyalty points are given for each eligible review and can be used to redeem cash and/or crypto offers from our partner network.

  • Points are credited once a review is fully verified and published. This usually takes 24-48 hours. If they still aren't showing, please contact support.

  • Points remain valid as long as your account is active. If your account is inactive for more than 24 months, points may be archived — contact support to restore them.

  • Loyalty points are personal and non-transferable. They can only be redeemed by the account that earned them, in order to keep the reward system fair and aligned with genuine review activity.

Privacy & Security

  • We only share the necessary information required to verify your review (like an order number). Your personal contact details are never sold to third parties.

  • We utilize official integrations with merchant platforms to independently verify transactions. By checking order details without the company's direct involvement, we ensure that feedback is honest and based on real customer experiences.

  • Public reviews always display your account name to maintain accountability, but you can choose a pseudonym as your display name. Personally identifying details (email, order number) are never shown publicly.

  • Click the report icon next to any review, or open the business profile and choose Report Business. Our trust team investigates every report and takes action where guidelines have been breached.

Badges & Trust Score

  • Badges shown on a company profile (such as 'Top Rated' or 'Verified Reviews Only') are awarded based on objective criteria like rating, response rate, and verification ratio. They give you a quick read on a business's trustworthiness at a glance.

  • Trust Score is a 0–100 measure combining a company's rating, review volume, recency, response rate, and how many of its reviews are independently verified. Higher scores indicate a stronger, more trustworthy track record.

  • A perfect rating with only a handful of reviews — or with most reviews unverified — will score lower than a 4.6-star company with thousands of verified reviews and consistent merchant responses. Trust Score rewards depth and verification, not just stars.
