We planned the “trip of a lifetime” with this company. Two of the main objectives we had were seeing the wildebeast migration and seeing whales on the coast. When we arrived at both stops the staff had no idea about these goals and basically said it wasn’t possible. Our favorite stops on the trip were places I picked myself. It was an extremely disappointing for a once in a lifetime trip that we invested a lot in. We worked with customer service for weeks and finally got a 10% refund as a token gesture- doesn’t begin to compensate for what we spent to have our wishes ignored in the planning.

Over Thanksgiving 2026 our family of 12 took a trip to South Africa that was planned by Mahlatini. Aaron was amazing to work with. He was very organized, accommodating and communicative. He helps book travel from individuals flying out of three different cities with various upgrades. For the first half of the trip we stayed in the V&A waterfront area of Cape Town. Aaron helped us book tours, and dinner reservations. On the second half of the trip we flew to Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge and the service was incredible. Will definitely be using Mahlatini and Aaron again.

We cannot recommend Caroline from Mahlatini Luxury Travel highly enough. She planned the most incredible honeymoon for us in Kenya and absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way. From the very first interaction, Caroline was a joy to work with – warm, responsive, and extremely helpful. She made the whole process effortless and enjoyable, and her attention to detail was second to none. Every part of our honeymoon was seamless, beautifully organised, and full of thoughtful touches that made us feel so special. We genuinely felt like royalty throughout the trip, with everything taken care of to perfection. It was the perfect balance of luxury, adventure, and relaxation, and we loved every single moment. Thanks to Caroline and the Mahlatini team, our honeymoon was not only stress-free but truly magical – the kind of trip you dream about but rarely get to experience. We are so grateful to her and Mahlatini for giving us memories that will last a lifetime.

We used Mahlatini for our honeymoon in Oct '23 when we went to Kenya & Mauritius, and it was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better experience, Natasha was incredibly thorough and helpful throughout the entire planning process and was able to tweak the itinerary with little details while fitting everything in our budget. Normally I prefer to plan my own trips, but using Mahlatini was 100% worth the cost...having every single transfer to and from hotels / airport / lodges planned and there on time was incredible. All the partners that Mahlatini worked with were top class and awesome, not one bad experience. Will definitely work with them again when going on our next vacation to Africa.

Just finished up a 10 day safari Honeymoon trip. Went to 3 different destinations. Zimbabwe, Chobe National Park, and the Okavengo Delta. Typically I personally like to book everything myself when I travel but WOW and I glad I went through this company. They were awesome about booking all the different destinations/activities/accommodations at each place and the connection pickups. They did everything and it definitely delivered.
