Update at bottom, hence the 3 stars. Absolute five star service. I was buying a check valve for my own pump which had the wrong fittings so Peter talked to me, looked at the pump documentation, and got a male to male attachment and put it on for me so it would fit my pump. He went obove and beyond to help me on a problem that they did nothing to create. Update: less than a year later and the check valve has stopped working. Lime scale (I think) built up and stopped the metal on metal valve from forming a seal. They decided not to refund me even though it was less than a year old. I don’t think that’s the right decision but it was also only about £23. I presume they thought I should have know any implications of the type of water going through the valve, but this is speculation. I had to find a new check valve and in that process realised that the 1 1/2” valve they gave me last year wasn’t the best option. I had a pump with a 1 1/2” outlet next to the bottom of the pump in the water, but the better option is clearly to have the 1” hose attach to the 1” outlet (there’s a separate 1” attachment on that pump that screws into the 1 1/2 outlet) and for a 1” check valve to be out of the water, attached to the wall and between the hose from the pump and the hose to the drain. So I bought a 1” valve and have now put in on the wall, out of the water. A much better option and makes getting to the attachment at the pump easier and means I just have a 1” valve on the wall. I would absolutely recommend buying from Pumps UK as they seemed very decent but in my very specific situation the wrong check valve size and type (metal on metal seal) was offered in the advice which was wrong and no refund was given.

Absolutely brilliant service from Darren. He went far beyond to help me out in a moment of emergency and managed the unimaginable and organised a fast delivery of a pump for my client. This gesture means a lot to me and I'm grateful. Thank you so much for going the extra mile. (Also a shout out to other members of the team I manage to speak to - for example Daryl). I had a very unpleasant experience with Pumps UK Ltd. We enquired about a Holden Brook pump via email but never received a response. When I called to follow up and asked for an email ID, the person on the other end mocked my English accent. The second time I called to request a quote (after waiting 10 days), I was met with even more rudeness. When I mentioned the delay, the response was, "So what, you need to wait," delivered in an unprofessional and arrogant manner. They then told me that they no longer deal with the brand I had enquired about but again mocked my accent. This is something that could have been communicated in the first place! When I asked for another salesperson’s contact details, I was rudely refused. Director Peter Bunton and Olga Bunton, please take a look at how your employees are treating customers. It’s concerning that this is the second time I’ve experienced such disrespect from your staff. Do you really want to sell your products, or is it more important for your team to bully customers based on their accent? Very disappointing.

Excellent service, had an issue with a business debit card rang the company and the Guy was very helpful and made sure the order had gone through when i was placing it. Would highly recommend them delivered within 48 hours and good value. 5 stars from me!
