Fantastic fit of 7ft 9" rug for my 19h2 Shire horse

Just got my 1st rug from these guys and wow it’s the best fitting rug he has will be back for more !! And the service is brilliant 🤩 thanks guys

Being called The Big Horse Shop, you would think it would be a shop. It's more a distribution centre/warehouse. My other half was kind of looking forward to having a look around. We were worried about the rug we bought, whether it would fit out Traditional Gypsy Cob stallion. It was perfect, the quality is good and the colour was nice too. The person I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant.

Fabulous staff, Fabulous turn out rugs, Fabulous service, what more can l say other than l will always use the big horse shop.

Perfect coverage for my round Welsh cross. She has a thick neck and for most rugs this results in them slipping back behind her withers. This rug doesn't do that though so she stays comfortable. What I would like is some surcingle extensions as I had to make three from a rug I was throwing out because the ones on the rug wouldn't go round her at her fattest!

Really pleased with the masks, have 2 huge heads to cover, the flies have been swarming this year and they have given my boys some much needed relief. One got minor rubs on his chin from the edging, it had to be fairly tight as the flies were getting into the mask. But they fitted very well.

Excellent fit and durability; particularly fits well over my boy's eyes (as otherwise he takes the mask off!)

I already have the zebra fly rug. It is on it's fourth year. Very durable and easy to wash. I have brought another one - one to wash and one to wear. It goes without saying the Broard Hores rugs are a definite for large shoulders and heavier horses.

I love big horse shop rugs - firstly… they fit!! No mini skirts - no tight necks - they do what they say they do! Bought two for the Clydesdale boys - one is wrecking his - lovely helper is busy sewing it back up - which works - the other is un sabotaged! The only minor complaint is that I absolutely hate the colour orange… more choice - or a different colour for next year please 🙏

Actually found a rug the fits my cob . Fits her perfectly and is really good quality.

Fits my big Irish draft well with plenty of room for movement. The fabric is durable too and does resist her neck rubbing. I would recommend these rugs for any sweet itch affected horse.
