Fantastic everyday scent and extremely versatile. Can be dressed up or down and the performance is good too. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something mass appealing as I've showed this to a few of my colleagues and GF and they all really like it. Doesn't smell like Greenley if anyone is worried about that!

I used to enjoy the original and this is very close to it. I would say the only difference I can notice is the Lavender in Gallus seems to emerge and mix with the Lavender more quickly than the original, which seemed to have the Cardamon emerge first. Great scent which is very much a skin scent, and subtle. Good if you were on a promise!

My second bottle. Its a great longlasting scent

This was a blind buy as the note composition and description as an aromatic fougere appealed to me. However, on initial application, this very soon developed an anamalic, almost faecal scent on my wrists. This faded after 30 minutes or so and then developed into a very nice scent. It's a quality scent, but not for me.

This a great fragrance. It has a high quality vibe about it. I have never sampled the original because the high prices of a vintage bottle put me off. With this you do not need to seek out a vintage. The anise note combined with the shaving foam aroma are superb. Thank you for re creating these vintage scents !

Brilliant tropical scent for the warmer weather but, as the description says, this could be worn all year round. Opens up with a tropical fruity blast then settles down with creamy sandalwood coming to the fore. Got the 15ml bottle and will probably buy the larger one once I've finished this one.

I loved the original Rive Gauche fragrance, as a wet shaver in their 50s. It's a classic soapy and fresh barbershop fragrance. On the initial spray of this version, I was hit by a very synthetic base fragrance that irritated my nostrils. It did eventually settle and, as another reviewer mentioned, after about an hour it did start to smell like Rive Gauche. Unfortunately by this time, any hint of projection beyond a foot away was gone. Perhaps the moral of the story is, these old school fragrances should stay in the past where they can be more fondly remembered. I'll probably use it for the office, but can't see there being a repeat buy for this one from me.

I really don't like modern, unisex gourmand scents at all. Rive Gauche has always been a favourite of mine, and I have a 10ml decant if the original to compare against. Belgravia is close, but the Anise note is buried and doesn't emerge until a couple of hours after applying, but the heart notes are close to the original. By the time it gets to the base notes, the scents is just a faint skin scent with no radiance.

Rive Gauche was a favourite of mine a good few years ago and Belgravia is a great effort at copying it. If you enjoy barbershop style fragrances then you should check this one out. The scent on it's own I'd give 5 stars but have marked as a 4 overall as I would have loved it to last a wee bit longer but still a brilliant addition to Pocket Scents growing catalogue

Excellent rendition of the long lamented Rive Gauche pour homme.Used to own the aforementioned and have had a few dupes in the past, this one is the best yet,scratches the itch perfectly. Bravo!

Sol Di Vino is one of those fragrances that makes you want to smile the moment you put it on. It’s sunny, fruity, but with a well-defined character.It opens up with a burst of citrus energy bright and sparkling,but it doesn't end there There’s something spicy and aromatic right underneath that gives it rhythm,depth,and that subtle detail that tells you this isn't your typical sweet summer scent.i love it ive already had a few compliments every time I wear it that's how fantastic this is.
