I’ve bought quite a few things from Matt and his team now and everything from the quality of the product, the packaging and the service has been top class. You could argue that some of the things I have bought, like the bench hooks, I could and probably should have built myself, however they would not have been as well built or have the level of quality and finish that Matt’s products do. I highly recommend all of his products.

I was a little hesitant at the price but am delighted at the sheer beauty and quality of the pale moon ebony marking knife and so pleased I decided to buy it. It's a joy to behold and to use.

A real nice marking tool. Had to buy some thing after all of the free learning I got on Matt's YouTube channel. The British post office is way better than the one here in the USA. Tons of communication about the delivery process.

I'm indecisive and after ordering I wanted more and was easily the most effortless "add more to order" process I think I've ever done. Think it surprised them how easy it was. The stuff they sell is so handy and much more precise than I could manage. It's got me thinking about what would be handy as well. Should get a mail up for handy suggestions for your 3D printing alchemy. Thank again for the excellent service and stufffff!

Just received my nice new bocote & bronze marking knife. Was sold as B stock as thumb groove is slightly out of position but for me is a very minor detail. The quality is fantastic regardless of the slight imperfection and feels so nice to use. Oh and ahh.....I appreciated the warning on the sandpaper samples, but now I'm going to have get new sandpaper 😂. Thanks Matt and team.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Matt is a natural teacher and gave each individual as much assistance as they needed, but without ever being intrusive. Most people took the opportunity to ask him about things beyond the course itself, such as which tools to buy and how to refine their sharpening technique, and Matt was more than happy to share his knowledge and opinions. All materials for the box are provided, however I decided to swap out the standard hinges for the SmartHinges featured in Episode 6 of the Keepsake Box series on Matt's Free Online Woodworking School YouTube channel. If you want to go on the course and do this, you will need to buy them in advance and Matt will be happy to guide you through their installation. The best aspect of the course for me was being able to spend a whole week working on something I enjoy in the company of people with similar interests. Three of us were staying at the very nice Furze Inn, just up the road from Matt's workshop, so we met for drinks and food in the evenings. I thought of it more as a holiday than a course. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to improve their woodworking skills, and I am hoping Matt will lay on future courses to build other items, so I will have opportunities to go on more woodworking holidays!
