Connect Judge.me in your Rated Stores dashboard and let the integration import the available reviews. Start with the direct integration; you do not need to export a file for this route.

Your migration route

The integration brings available review data into Rated Stores. Your website widget is a separate step, so check the import before changing what customers see.

The direct integration starts from the store domain. CSV remains a separate option.

Step-by-step

  1. Create your account and claim your company. Use business signup and complete the ownership checks.
  2. Open Integrations and choose Judge.me. Find your store using its Judge.me store domain.
  3. Start the import. Allow the initial sync to finish, then inspect your imported reviews in the dashboard.
  4. Check the content. Compare a sample of reviews, ratings and dates with the source. Check any product associations and media that matter to your store.
  5. Set up your widget. Choose a layout, preview it on your website and replace the old embed when you are satisfied.

Already have a CSV?

The dashboard CSV importer is an alternative if you already have a review export. Choose the original platform and upload the file. It needs a rating column and review text or a title. Common name and date columns are recognised automatically.

File imports are recorded as company reviews with their original source and are not marked as verified purchases. Check your product-review requirements before choosing this route.

Check before you switch

  • Review coverage: compare your imported feedback with the source and investigate gaps.
  • Source and verification: confirm that imported reviews are attributed correctly. An imported review is not automatically a Rated Stores verified purchase.
  • Website display: test the new widget on desktop and mobile, including the pages where customers make buying decisions.
  • New review collection: configure your invitations and connected store separately. Importing past feedback does not replace your collection setup.
  • Other services: plan separately for loyalty, referrals, Q&A or other features you use on your existing platform.
Check the details that help a customer choosing between similar handmade products.

Set up your new review display

Use the widget playground to explore the available layouts. A carousel works well in a wider section; a compact badge can sit closer to a purchase decision. Check the settings and content in the context of your own theme.

Keep access to your existing account while checking the transition. Make any subscription changes only after you have confirmed the reviews, website display and ongoing collection you need.

FAQ

Do I have to export my reviews first?

No. Start with the Judge.me integration in your dashboard. CSV import is a separate option if you already have a file.

Will importing reviews change their verification status?

Imported feedback keeps its source. Do not treat an import as proof of a verified purchase. CSV imports enter as unverified reviews.

Can I bring reviews from other platforms too?

Use Integrations to see the available sources and their connection requirements. Check the import route for each platform.

Does the import move everything from my old account?

No. Check review coverage and plan separately for any media, product relationships, invitations, Q&A and loyalty features your business needs.
