How the Migration Tool Works
- Sign up free at ratedstores.com — no credit card.
- Go to /dashboard/company/migrate (after signup).
- Paste your Elfsight embed code or URL — anything from
<div data-elfsight-app-id="...">to the full HTML block. - Review detected sources — we scan for Google Place IDs, Trustpilot business URLs, Etsy shop names, Instagram handles and more.
- Connect available sources — follow the dashboard link and complete the integration setup. Detection does not itself import reviews. Trustpilot currently uses the dashboard CSV importer.
- Replace the embed — copy our one-line
<script>and swap out the old Elfsight code on your site.
Allow time to complete each source connection and check the initial import.
What Gets Migrated
Review source details — the tool looks for identifiers in your embed. Review the results and connect the available sources in your dashboard. If no identifiers are found, add your sources there directly.
Reviews themselves — imported through the relevant integration after you connect it. Import coverage and sync support depend on the source. Trustpilot reviews currently require a CSV file.
Widget style — pick from 15+ Rated Stores widget styles. Most Elfsight widgets have a close equivalent (carousel, list, badge, masonry, floating badge).
